Sony MDRNC31EMW Digital Noise Canceling Headphones for Mobile - Perfect for Travel, Commuting & Office Use

Got the white ones for 30$, amazing headphones. I've never used a noise cancelling pair before though. The noise cancellation works very well, I use it mainly while walking in the city streets, it drowns out majority of the 'constant noises' like generators, construction noise, etc. Works well to a good extent on the vehicles moving around in your vicinity too, although honks and other noises do sometimes get in. Tried it in the local supermarket as well and the result was VERY good! I found it to effectively drown out some of the talks of the people nearby as well, not too much, but to a decent extent. I use it with my Xperia Z3 Compact. And I'm glad that there's an option to just have the NC on while not playing any audio at all, that way you can plug them into your ears and just mute the ambient sounds a bit if you want to have some silence. Doesn't seem to have much affect on the battery life, around half an hour of usage made the phone lose around 4-5% points I think. That was only my first usage of it though, so yet to test the product extensively.Only thing I didn't like: it gave me a BAD headache after just half an hour of usage! I felt the effects of motion sickness for the next 6 hours or so after removing them from my ears. I blame that on the Noise Cancelling technology itself though; if anything, it just goes to show that the headphones actually do work well. Guess, I'll be using it very very sparingly henceforth, as I easily get motion sickness anyway. :SSound quality is good, on par with the headphones sold with the phone I'd say. Not much difference in that department. Overall, I like the purchase.Can't wait to try it on the next flight or bus ride! (Dread the feeling of nausea that will accompany thereon though!)
